Esra had twins at the age of 19. Later, she divorces her husband Hüseyin. Both live in the district of Celle.
On May 3, 2022, the garbage collector stabs his divorced wife to death in a parking lot in Burgdorf "with a large number of knife stabs." She dies on the spot. He flees, but turns himself in to the police. The knife is found behind a garden fence.
